Been playing a while on a table and my notes on him are:

Plays loose/calling station. All-in PF with A8o. Likes to all-in with weak hands, and also likes to bet too much to take down the pot/when he semi-strong. I'll add here that he got lucky on me a couple of times and I wanted to win back my money so I slightly (!) got my feelings involved here.

      What to do?

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.01/$0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

      Known players:
      BU (Hero):
      $1.83
      SB:
      $2.08
      BB:
      $1.72
      UTG1:
      $0.40
      UTG2:
      $2.13
      MP1:
      $2.00
      MP2:
      $0.78
      MP3:
      $2.00
      CO:
      $2.01

Preflop: Hero is BU with K, Q.
UTG1 folds, UTG2 raises to $0.16, 4 folds, Hero calls $0.16, 2 folds, BB folds.

      Flop: ($0.35) 4, 4, 5 (2 players)
UTG2 bets $0.20, Hero folds, UTG2 gets uncalled bet back.

      Final Pot: $0.35.

I also gaze fish too much..
However, I don't want to call him because not only even you hit QK, I will often dominated but I have to care about squeeze.
So I think bluff 3 bet will be better but I fold.

      Hello Gnillperker,

Why do you call? Do you know the math of you hitting the Flop in p%?

I don't like calling at all in a MSS strategy, it requires extensive handreading and excellent flopplay to make it profitable. Also you simply do not flat nutty hands versus him so when you move up , you are easily readable.

I just 3bet him preflop if he is loose enough. Or I just fold preflop

      Best regards,
      Gerv

nutty hands are tophands like Toppair, 2pair

I was referring to preflop and what you can flop. You miss 65% of the time on any flops so your hand is considered unpaired. So if you play pretty straightforward, it is pretty bad to be in this situation.

Therefore I either 3bet or just fold versus this player as you give him the exactly the scenario he wants when you call him preflop
