I thought I can get profit from 16/14 villains in position so I called.
and on flop I called because I hit.
on turn his bet seemed to show villain have Qx or some pair so I minraised.
      Is it profitable?

He will CB on Q high flop( though he sometimes have AQ,KQ) so I'll still ahead his range.
And turn's half bet on this board shows he want to give up his hand(especially
Q high hand with good kicker)or even Ax..

However, I notice he can call if he have Ax and I'll isolate better hand than make good hand fold.

Ofcourse when we hit a Qxx board, we are mostly gin but my question was referring to the broader picture in general

What makes you think you can grind a profit on boards that are not easy to play (that is non Jxx ,Qxx boards)

Seems you missed my question again so I will just explain what I wanted to say:
I do not really like calling QJo here preflop. You are equity wise behind against PP, Kx, Ax but more importantly you will face cBets about 99% of the times on the Flop. What you gonna do when you DONT hit?

Did you devised a game plan that makes you profit if you just have Queen high? If so what is your plan?

If you do not have a plan, you are just losing money so I rather want to 3bet preflop
