      i called his bet on flop because he did only half of pot bet and on the turn when he checked i said that its an oportunity to try to steal the pot
      But now i think if it wasnt better to make a rise on flop in order to protect against a FD.

      Hello MeAmor22,

      Rather Check behind the turn cause you are never making any better hands to fold nor that many worse wont be calling you. He has also those Kx hands in his range.

      Raising the flop could be an option while he shows weakness but then you also have to know around what to do with the hand on further streets and not overplay it.
