what would of been the correct move on river here .?

THOUGHT PROCESS: taking initiative on flop obv and c beting , turn is blank , take another stab to fold out draws , (plus i still have nut str8 draw) calls again , but river is 9c wich completes a lower straight , i go to shove all in to rep the str8 but chicken out and make a stupid fishy small bet , was gonna bet pot , coz i wasnt sure if i was way ahead now or way behind and one of ur leatherass9 vids says to do this ivey does too .! anyway when he reraises hees representing the str8 now but wouldnt my turn bet folded QK ?
should i just give up on river in these type of spots or what ?

      Hello LoKKK,

Don't like your line here that much, especially when river even completes. He is rarely folding any hands which called flop & turn. Therefore standard would be Check/Fold there.

Bet/Broke would be just spew and you will almost always face a Call and a better hand.

      Best Regards.

      if he's a fish he's never folding a draw
if he's not a fish he can still afford to draw in position. your bet is not scary at all
