I think I played this hand completly wrong, am I right?

IPoker, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 8 Players

      MP1: $0.99 (49.5 bb) 12|6|4,0 Hands: 130
      Hero (MP2): $2 (100 bb)
      MP3: $1.17 (58.5 bb)
      CO: $4.94 (247 bb)
      BTN: $0.99 (49.5 bb)
      SB: $1.01 (50.5 bb)
      BB: $2 (100 bb)
      UTG+2: $2.31 (115.5 bb)

      Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A K
      UTG+2 calls $0.02, MP1 raises to $0.08, Hero calls $0.08, 6 folds

MP1 is very thight so I just call to hold his Ax in a game.

      Flop: ($0.21) J 8 9 (2 players)
      MP1 checks, Hero checks

Maybe I should bet on such drawy board but I just check behind.

      Turn: ($0.21) A (2 players)
      MP1 bets $0.12, Hero calls $0.12

He bets only half of a pot, I have top pair top kicker, again I think I should show more agression and reraise but I just call.

      River: ($0.45) T (2 players)
      MP1 checks, Hero checks

Now he beats me with Q or 7 and almost all Ax combinations so for sure I just check behind again.

      Results: $0.45 pot ($0.03 rake)
      Final Board: J 8 9 A T
      MP1 showed Q A and won $0.42 ($0.22 net)
Hero mucked A K and lost (-$0.20 net)

He's kind of tight. What kinds of hands could he check on flop?
TT, AK, AQ, no more. I dunno, I'd put him on these 3 hands only :D

      I'd check/call him down I guess... don't really know

      Hello TedG82,

Doubt that we can do much there cause I doubt we are making any worse hands to fold anyways on the flop and therefore your play is fine.

      Best Regards.
