he went into the tank for a long time. & called.
why am I so @#$%! stupid?
it's like I'm writing a book on how to minimize wins & maximize losses.
nothing like going broke in a limped pot!
why didn't I just call his bet?
because I "knew" he didn't make the straight. nope, he sure didn't. :O

posted mainly as a reminder to myself.
but feel free to point & laugh.

      Hello William340,

What's with your min-raise on the turn? You are giving good odds for any draw, huge leak in your game. :(

As played, you going for pot control on the turn but you raising on the river when straight gets there, did you try to bluff?

Also what do you think he is raising you on the turn while it's a freeplay pot? Ax? 2pairs? If so then wouldn't it make sense rather to get it in on the turn and protect?

      Best Regards.

      veriz -
I think I outsmarted myself thinking that my min-raise would "look weak" and encourage action from what I was thinking was Ax or maybe A5.
then when he re-raised, I estimated that I would have a hard time re-raising back w/o shoving, otherwise there would not be enough left for a decent bet on the river.
if I raised to 1.50, the pots ~$5 and we only have about $1.50 left.

I guess I didn't want to overbet shove after he reraised and "scare him out".

btw - I wanted to say "thanks" for all the effort you put in judging hands on this forum. I really appreciate your input
