      Hello William340,

Against those donks on such dry boards having backdoors I'd just raise it up and take back the initiative. :) But neither folding ain't wrong, just avoiding complications.

      Best Regards.

      what about floating? :f_eek:
i find out that these randoms often just donk as a bluff and then give up on the turn, in zoom happens really often :D

Nah, not really. Rather take the initiative back and can do whatever you want on the turn with your hand if you even get called. Still have backdoor draws and overcard(s).

so, raise to .54 or so and fold if he re-raises.
if he calls and donks again, then what (say the turn is a blank for me like J )
      give up, I guess?

or if it's a blank and he checks, then I bet out?
I know poker isn't just about the cards, but the pot would be .28+1.08 = 1.36,
so to bet even 2/3 is ~.90, 3/4P is 1.02, so say I bet $1.
now I have ~1.66 of my stack in and I don't have a pair.

if he is the kind of guy that won't lay down T9 here, I'm just spewing, aren't I?
or am I "playing poker" ?

      We just fold it then.

On blank we also Check it behind unimproved.

He is not laying down on the turn vs our 2nd barrel most likely while seems to be loose.
