I know that everyone else opens suited 2-Gappers UTG -- what was I thinking?

Party, 50/100 blinds No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 10 Players

      SB: 2,900 (29 bb)
      UTG+2: 7,130 (71.3 bb)
      Hero (UTG): 2,050 (20.5 bb)
      MP2: 5,330 (53.3 bb)
      CO: 4,910 (49.1 bb)
      MP1: 2,910 (29.1 bb)
      MP3: 2,910 (29.1 bb)
      BB: 5,960 (59.6 bb)
      UTG+1: 2,940 (29.4 bb)
      BTN: 2,880 (28.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 6 9
      2 folds, UTG+2 calls 100, MP1 folds, MP2 calls 100, 5 folds

      Flop: (350) A 7 7 (2 players)
      UTG+2 bets 350, MP2 calls 350

      Turn: (1,050) 8 (2 players)
      UTG+2 checks, MP2 bets 525, UTG+2 calls 525

      River: (2,100) 5 (2 players)
      UTG+2 checks, MP2 bets 1,575, UTG+2 folds

Let's see some other groaners -- folded hands that hit big after you folded.

Isn't party rng just like ftp/ps where the flop would've been completely different if you wouldn't have folded the hand?

I mostly win with weak hands anyway, not with quads or better. I don't mind folding there... :D

I've read that pokerstars uses the 1 shuffle method, so the cards would have come the same regardless. the random stuff is done before the deal. this way it's a lot worse when you fold your flopped quads pf vs AA and KK.

DO not really care that folded as Open Raiser is terrible short stacked, but just missed a nice hand :)

Hmm, thought that stars had same method as ftp, but seems like you're right.
