trying to follow veriz's advice and protect my hand against flush draes and better straight draws (off the 9-T).

I know everyone folded, but was the bet ok?
or should it have been bigger ?

I was thinking I might get some action.
I play pretty tight so I didn't think they'd be too worried about 7-8.
maybe they has 33 and 55. or hearts

      Hello William340,

Preflop: Pretty close in first place opening such hands if you ain't sure in your postflop play while being OOP.

      As played
Postflop: I'd go even for bigger CB here while any draw/pair is calling anyways.

      Best Regards.

definitely close opening, but I was not getting any hands on that table, and I wanted to open SOMETHING before I got AA or KK and raised & won the blinds.
on that table I was vpip 9, pfr 6 over the first 3 or 4 orbits.

with that hand I'm playing fit or fold looking for straights or flushes and giving up on anything except maybe a dry board I'd stab at on the flop.

      so, potsize bet then?

thanks again for reviews. do you ever sleep? ;)

Yeah, near pot size I'd consider doing that and if I see even the opponents being very loose then sometimes even overbet.

thanks again for reviews. do you ever sleep?

No, rarely. :f_biggrin: Nah, of course I sleep, as every poker needs his sleep ~8h per day. :D I just don't have anything else right now just my thesis on what I am working hardcore few more weeks and then back into life again. :D But I am rather night-lifer, good to play poker on that time and also easy to evaluate hands, of course cause of that I wake up as well like 13:00 or so. :f_biggrin:
