1: I don't know. Sometimes people bet so little on low limits because they're afraid of you not calling (while having monster). So it can result in pretty nasty beat. But as played it's also ok.

2: I think it's an easy fold since gutshot can be maintained by having every ace in this situation, and I don't think you're the only one with ace in this pot. So, you're fighting with overcards only, and that's not enough.

      hand 2: Ok
hand 1: is not cool at all for me,not because of the way you play ,but you did not show serious reasons why you play like that ,only bet size and hunch.Agree with 098799.In this limits many opps like do small bets with good hands and especially against short stacks because of the fear that they can not collect value from us.IMHo you are committing yourself in very marginal situation. You have outs only to oc,but they loses to straight and maybe backdoor flush, but all your outs very vulnerable.Option to re raise can be considered when you have some advanced stats/reads on opp like fold to cbet to raise, wts and other, which I`m not qualified to answer properly.Fold is safest solution for me.
      Good luck.

How I like when Gus re raises with 47o :D or when Russian SSS coach showed us top secret advanced sss hand 72o and it worked as a miracle (really) :)
Why can`t I do such things? Why?
