Villain unknown, just joined the table

Titan Poker Andante 0.05/0.10, hand converted by the iPoker Converter at Talking-Poker

saw flop | [color:#C00000]saw showdown

Button ($11.59)
SB [color:#C00000]SB ($9.49)
BB Hero ($12.41)
UTG ($10.35)
UTG+1 ($4.56)
CO ($8.33)

Preflop: Hero is in the BB with J :diamond: A :diamond:
4 folds, SB calls 0.05, Hero raises to 0.40, SB calls 0.30.

Flop (0.90) A :spade: T :club: 9 :club:
SB checks, Hero bets 0.80, SB raises to 1.60, Hero calls 0.80.

Turn (4.10) 5 :club:
SB bets 3, 1 fold

Meh, I am confused about villain's play - can't be set, maybe two pair or fd. River brings another scare card and I give up  Maybe reraise on flop?

Problem with 3-bet flop is that all the worse hands would probably fold and all the best hands would shove.
AJ is a little strong hand to bet/fold, so I like bet/call, c/f turn, since he might also hit his draw.
If turn was blank I´ld call turn mostly, since he could do that with draw and see what the doesn on the river. But it is so much player dependent that I can´t give you the right answer, at some playces c/shove is perfictly fine.
