I half though he might be taking a stand - I have been stealing 100%, he has been folding. Recently he has waken up, and has been 3betting me on my steals here and there, to which I folded. I thought I would see what happened. I sensed weakness on flop (even pre, his standard 3bet was 3x. I now -0.5 its not much though). Am I taking too many risks here? (I am not making these plays often. If I do, is v. regs who I might feel more confident about - and not often!)

      Hello MisClick,

Preflop: Calling here is very bad cause your hand is often dominated by better Qx hands for example and neither I doubt that you going to play profitable in long run the hand. Therefore rather fold. Especially being OOP.

      As played
Postflop: Don't really like it that much cause you can't really represent much there, the only hope is that he has something like AK and which folds. Therefore not the best flop to Check/Raise. :)

      Best Regards.

lol, I thought the same postflop after I check-raised him I was thinking: please let him be crap at reading, please let him be crap at reading...After he just calls on flop, I think on turn I didn't have another option, because, obviously, he is crap at reading: if he had any hand to defend he should have shove. If he didn't...well, he had just informed me on flop (or he is a station, bad luck for me, but too late) :f_mad:

(Oh, and yes, I see clearly it was a bad call preflop  I need to cut down on the choc)

Happens, at least start to fix your leaks and discussing about the hands which will help to improve the process.
