      my question is what to do on the river if I didn't hit my dream card?

      Don´t think you´re very few times ahead on that turn and should play bet/fold.
      Bet flop bigger.
      For bluff induce you can play c/c turn.
      If you didn´t hit your boat, then it is easy c/f if another diamond comes or even when blank comes and villain bets strong, since you´re often beat here.
