      Hello Tomaloc,

      Depends how we feel here and if he is capable of paying with worse hands (what kind of calling range we assume the villain to have here).

      But as long I wouldn't exclude something like AQ/A8s from his range we could go for a raise even while AA is unlikely, so only thing to worry is 88/QQ which most likely would have played the same way.

      But now again, it's ZOOM, can we even raise for value in those spots while ZOOM ranges are mainly towards PPs only? :) While also we are a bit deeper we might be able to Raise/Fold it even here unless you assume he overplaying 2pairs -> I'd assume he would go for pot control with 2pairs > 3betting them.

      i decided to call down because he bet so strongly and i wasn't sure that these twopair hands even were in his SB 3way calling range, was worried about QQ/88 indeed.

      turned out he had AQs :D

      That's what ZOOM makes you think that only big sets are for profit. ZOOM aka set mining strategy.
