with QQ I am 3betting preflop with such hand

      as played
I would probably raise the flop -
      a) for protection as I don't want to see any T and 8 on turn in case he is drawing and
      b) in order to get value from hands like AJ, Jx

      as played
      turn - raise it
again in order to get value

      as played
river - 4 doesnt really changes anything and I doubt he is turning his hand to bluffcatcher on river after betting on turn...so I agree with betting, maybe I would bet even bigger ~2.75

      Hello faronel,

Preflop: Doubt that there is much value in 3betting here. If we 3bet then most likely vs his PFR we even turning our hand into bluff. Most likely from MP it might be even smaller.

      As played
Postflop: Guess pot control is totally fine on the flop & turn and take a look with what he plays like that, although I'd pick up a bit thinner value on the river cause his range is pretty polarized which calls you by which I mean very few hands which you beat. :) Give him room for hero-calls with something like TT. So I'd Bet ~$2.

      Best Regards.

so if we are against such opponent, we rather call hands like AA, KK, QQ,...than 3-betting them for value when we are likely to have a heads-up situation?

Like AA/KK = QQ. :) With KK/AA you are ahead so we 3bet with them, QQ is rather a Call cause at the best you are against AK which goes broke. Vs normal go-broke range we have small equity and which is even a mistake to do so unless we assume he is also calling/going broke really loose which can't be true according his PFR.
