Hey again pokerstrategy! :D Long time no see!

I just started playing again, so don't be too hard on me. ^_^

This hand made me scratch my head:

pfischer888 wins the pot of ($7.65 with a straight, Eight to Queen.)
pfischer888 wins the pot of ($22.35 with a straight, Eight to Queen.)

      Any suggestions? :)
Should I have just called when he betted $2.50? and see what he would do on the last street?
Should I have folded when he betted $2.50?
OR did I play it the way I should? I'm not sure at all. ^^

I didn't put him on 10J since I thought it would be a weird hand to call a raise with preflop and play out of position on a fullring table (on the other hand only 5 players were on the table at that exact time hmm).

I don't think I had any information on him.

      Kind regards Chew.

      Hello ChewbroCColi,

You could easily even raise the flop and treat the min-bet as Check and weakness.

But otherwise why do you min-raise the turn? :) Raise normally and protect your hand. And I'd just get it in on the turn, such player could easily even overplay worse as 2pairs even and of course could also have 44.

Calling would make sense if we assume being behind and Call it for FH/quads but I doubt that you ever folding on a blank river.

Neither you can't put the opponent on one hand and to your sentence that he can't have JT then why not? Of course he also has JT hands in his range.

      Best Regards.
