My friend has some extreme books. He said he'd printed it out after buying it for $1800???!!!
      "Let there be range".
Has anyone else read this book? WTF is it? Why is it priced $1800?

And he also has two books; "Easy game volume I and II." That book too is over $300.

Does anyone as anything to say about these books?
I hope he'll let me read this stuff.

      Hey kruger32,

You should refer your friend to PokerStrategy.com! Why pay $1800 for a book when we have tonnes of free educational content in the forms of strategy articles, videos, coachings and hand evaluations!

      Worth thinking about, right?

      Kind regards,
      Gary

Tri Nguyen likes to milk dumb poker players who have no touch with reality and moneys worth.

There's a famous name on the cover which makes it cost that much. Basically it's just highly overpriced like most stuff that touches poker education, books, private coaching etc.

Doubt that anyone is buying it anymore, but once it came out fairly certain quite a few people bought it. Because everyone was like OMG a CTS book and it was nowhere to be found for free obv.

But that doesn't sound as ridiculous as buying Aejones ~7.5k$ audio "book" :f_biggrin:

People who bought this book also...

Were lucky enough to win the Nigerian lottery,

So if you just tell your friend to send me his bank details i can ship the winnings to him in a few days

Seriously though, who pays $1800 for a book? I would expect the book to sit at my computer and play 24 tables perfectly for me, for that amount of cash.

Overall that chapter is Awesome. He really analyzes the range Phil Ivey could be playing and tells us how he played that hand. We can really get into his head.
This book really does talk about range all the time.
For really advanced players I think.

Would have been a great book if priced < $150.

BTW, have to say; another overpriced book from the same publisher; Easy Game is quite good.

Easy game is from another publisher, other authors and is way better for beginner players.

      Not highly overpriced either.

Oh, and I read in 2p2 that this book was $300+, but Amazon says $80 so yeah not overpriced.

Aaron Davis and Tri Nguyen wrote The Poker Blueprint. Easy Game is written by Andrew "Balugawhale" Seidman from deuces cracked.

it was $1800 for the first edition. I have the third edition. He added some chapters, and its now ~$200...

It was priced so high because he believed it included information relevent to high stakes back at the time of release. This information is now no longer very hard to find, so he changed the price to reflect this.
