      SB

      3bet/broke flop?
      Bet(/broke/fold) turn?

Against a possible flop chRaising range we're not favourites, but the question is, what part of the range would he fold to a 3bet, or are there more air combos he's trying to bluff with, which would make a flop 3bet/broke definitely +EV.

      Hello pcfmcc02,

We have just one situation him Check/Raising and therefore I'd just Call him while also having the position. I like your play! Well played.

The turn card might be for him as well Check/Raise spot with strong hands, therefore I'd rather Check behind and might even induce him bluff the river or if not then we can always value-bet it.

      Best Regards.

Doubt that he is Check/Raising the 8x, so I'd snap the 8 and Ace is kind of ugly cause he may come up with A:dX which makes me towards folding or unless we get a report on a bet sizing there how much he does bet and then I'd readjust my play.

why would he c/r on the turn again?? kinda nonsense.... there is no way he would check the turn with a set
i think bet/ship turn is good option (he is not folding 99-JJ)

Cause it's good for "Hero" to Bet this kind of card while he shows weakness? I would have played the same way if I had a set and Check/Raise that kind of card cause I would assume aggressive player would very often Bet this kind of turn-card while it's a scare-card and even without it "Hero" is betting any made hand.

well thats true but why would he do that vs an unknown? imho without specific dynamics its very unlikely... but that would be also for a double c/r bluff obv :D

Hero isn't unknown. We have on him 229 hands, so therefore he must also have some kind of sample on us.
