I have a problem with sidekick not being able to read what happens in partypoker.

Can it be because it has been installed in a different folder?
Or is it because the partypoker software is the danish version?

      Titanpoker/770 reads fine.

      Any ideas?
      thx in advance :)

      Hey Mikkel,

in both cases, your hand history should be saved in a folder we know and it also should be in english language so PokerStrategy.com SideKick should be able to read it just fine.

Please export your logfiles using the right-click menu for PokerStrategy.com SideKicks tray icon -> 'Export Logfiles'.

A file will be created on your desktop. Please attach it to an e-mail and send it to application-services[at]pokerstrategy[dot]com.

With your logfiles we will be able to figure out what's going on exactly.

Please include a link to your post/thread in the e-mail.

      Thanks in advance,
      Markus

      Hey Mikkel,

      thanks for your e-mail.

Please uninstall PartyPoker and install it in to the default location! Make sure your hand history is also stored in the default location.
Install it in english and play a few hands with PokerStrategy.com SideKick running.

Before you do that, please run the following tool and send us the data collected to the same e-mail adress you sent the logfiles to.

      DiagTool

      Thanks.

hehe ok this is really weird, when I try to install partypoker, it tells me the default directory is C:\Program Files (x86)\Canon\Easy-WebPrint EX
Somehow I doubt that is how it's suppose to go X(

Maybe you could direct me to the right folder then? :P

Or can you from that see whats wrong, because I think it should direct to something like x:\Programfiles\party(something)\partypoker

I'm guessing it's an error in windows...

      heeelp :f_cry:

PS I also have the Danskespil app installed, can that somehow mess up the partypoker installation, Danskespil is using partypokers software, and can only be installed in danish i think.

      Hey Mikkel,

party poker was installed to this default location on my machine:
      C:\Programs\PartyGaming

Try installing it there by entering the path manually.

      Ok I've tried under c:\Programfiles and c:\Programs
the partpoker app complains if I install them elsewhere, but I'm not successfull in getting sidekick to recognise the hand history.

I also noted that HM2 won't do it automatically, and I have to direct it manually, not sure if that means anything?

      I'm thinking about a format c:\ TBH ;)
But I'm in doubt it will work, maybe I'll install the windows as a english version instead of danish.

I also get an error when running the diagtool, should I copy paste the stuff it writes down and send in an email instead. It says error analysing data, but gives me a report I can copy paste. Not sure if the error means anything :)

Just don't think sidekick likes my partypoker install :P
I was thinking that it might be due to the fact that the app is called PartyPokerDK?
But i'm guessing then more ppl from denmark would have this problem...

      Sorry for the wall :D

      Best regards
      Mikkel

      Hey Mikkel,

your post made something clear. You are not installing the international client for party poker.

The PartyPokerDK client is currently not supported by PokerStrategy.com SideKick - no matter where you are installing it to.

I'll let you know how we are moving forward with this issue shortly.

Please send us the DiagTool error via E-Mail.

      Cheers,
      Markus

Hi, no I havn't been able to find an international client, so still only recieveing kicks from Titan poker :)

It might be that the danish client is resstricted to danish players because of our login, which has to pass true something called Nem ID, so the goverment can keep track of our poker money :P

So not sure how to solve the problem ;(

      Hey Resilence,

please go ahead and do the following:

Open up this folder "%localappdata%\PokerStrategy.com\" and delete the "PokerStrategy.com SideKick" folder.

Start PokerStrategy.com SideKick (you should get the newest version automatically) and play ~5 cash game hands on PartyPoker.

Close Pokerstrategy.com SideKick and report any issues please.
In case it is not working, send a new logfile export to above mentioned email adress.

      Thank your for helping us!

How can you say something like that! :D

Alright, looks like we have a problem with the detection of PartyPoker.dk / .es in general. I'm discussing this with colleagues and will get back to you.
