      should this have been a raise while being OOP? i figured his UTG range was going to be pretty solid and he would either call with JJ/QQ/AK/AQ or raise with AA/KK and fold all else. decided to just play for set value. board missed a lot of his range so i tried to float but failed.. gave up after that.

      I dislike his c-bet size, and might have RR there. Since his range is pretty tight, but that's me and it depends on his playing style. *Do you have reads?

      I would say your up against:

      Board: 3:diamond: 4:heart: 5:diamond:
             Equity   profit Split
      UTG    59.73%  57.61%   2.12% { JJ+, AJs+, AQo+ }
      UTG+1  40.27%  38.15%   2.12% { TT }

      Board: 3:diamond: 4:heart: 5:diamond:
             Equity   profit Split
      UTG    66.86%  64.71%   2.14% { JJ+, AQs+, AKo }
      UTG+1  33.14%  31.00%   2.14% { TT }

      What the purpose of the turn bet? If you wanted to make villain fold then I would at least bet a 3/4th pot.

      i have no reads other than the given stats. normally i think i would bet a little larger simply because i expect him to fold big overcards but the whole hand felt weird. turned out he had a smaller PP tho. you are right about the bet size tho it should have been bigger.

      Hello DrDunne,

      Against his sizing you could of course Check/Raise the flop but which ain't the must. He is showing weakness with his sizing. But what I don't understand is the sizing on the turn where you donk.

      Donking is fine, but I would do it at least normal size so you would also protect your hand.

      Best Regards.
