Hi. I'm trying to steal vs nitty multitablers 2,5 bb in late position, but doesn't it induce bluff 3bets and light coldcalls? For example BB is a nitty short/mid stack player, who I've never seen coldcall pre before. His hand in showdown was a surprise to me.

As played, should I even bother to cbet here? There are many Ax, pockets in his range, which won't muck. Or simply double barrell on scare card?

Last question, if I steal 2,5bb and get 3bet to ~$0,75, should I simply push my entire 40bb stack in even as a bluff vs specific opponents? Thanks

If you steal with those cards 2.5x. That's ok if that's your style.

I would bet bigger on the flop, (flushdraw, 2 connected cards) just like you would do for value.

I personally dislike playing oop with those cards and would slow down after opponent calls. In some cases I might do a second barrel.

Wierd that villain checks on the river. :f_confused:

      > Depends on the opponent and your cards. I wouldn't do that with any2 for sure. Unless i'm sure he'll fold. I also suggest repecting the 3-bet, since most opponents won't resteal with nothing. With these cards i'd give up.

I would like to do that in order to steal more profitably against nits who (I thought) never coldcall preflop, but I feel like that sizing just provokes defence.

I have probably expressed myself wrong. Definitely it's not a move with any 2 vs anyone. I was refering to situation like this: let's say BB 3bet/folds 80% after 5k hands. I will 4bet bluff here, because my opponent has a leak, but there is too little dead money. Bluff shove must be succesful more often, but 4betting less is even more dull compared to the size left.

In position I think 2.5x is fine but I prefer 3x in this spot. It forces them to play back a bit more aggressively which you want more than people calling you a lot of time

I would 2nd barrel a lot vs this nitty player because this board doesn't hit him a lot so he might float you

If he 3bets you, I mostly shove as my only sizing as you cannot 4bet/fold to any sizing

      Best regards,
      Gerv
