Just been reading the above article and had some questions about some example hands.

This questions is about the river decision in a limped MWP, just before anyone shouts " raise pre "

In the below example hero is IP. If you we OOP on the same board texture, what would your line be? I am assuming it would depend on the opponent, but I am guessing it would be to b/f 1/3 - 1/2 pot against LP / weak players who can call with worse.

Would we play c/f against NITS or TP opponents?

      NL25
Hero (BU) has K :spade: Q :spade:

      Preflop:
UTG1 calls 0.25,6 folds, Hero calls 0.25, BB checks

      Flop: (pot 0.85)
      K :diamond: T :club: 5

BB checks, UTG1 checks, Hero bets 0.50, BB calls 0.50, UTG1 folds

      Turn: (pot 1.85)
      3 :diamond:

BB checks, Hero bets $1, BB calls $1

      River: (pot 3.85)
      A :spade:

      BB checks, Hero checks

      Hello muel294,

It's hard to tell because KQs will not be a hand I play in a limped pot! :)

Say somehow I misclick and limp in this hand I assume the other players that limped in are passive so river would be a value bet. Only 2 hands in their range beat us now: A5, AT and QJ but some of those might raise preflop (especially AT and QJ).

Stronger hands probably raise for value way earlier so you have the best hand extremely often. Given the nature of players that limp in, you can definitely value bet.

      Cheers.
