      Hi,

I played it this way because I wanted to cash in lower pairs. Is it correct to put him on a range of 99+, or should I make him tighter? By river I assume he doesn't have an ace. If I make him as tight as JJ, QQ (v. unlikely), KK, then it is a break-even play. Worse case is him staying only with QQ,KK. Best case is him staying with 99+. I am finding it hard using this to find a right size river bet.
      Thanks a lot

      Hi,

I would prefer 3-betting myself, since he would b/f pf his weaker pp-s and you can play for stacks on low boards, also you don´t mind of AT/AJ is going to b/f or b/c pf- this way you doesn´t let him see free flop with worse hands

River betsize is fine. He should call that small bet his 77-JJ hands that has more often than KK

      best regards,

Hi Kaitz, thanks a lot :f_grin:

If he is going to fold his smaller pps and AJ,AQ, isn't it better to avoid a 3bet? I thought about it, but he seems to be quite scaredy preflop (I didn't put that stat, but for example, he has 100% folding BB v. steal, 9 out of 9 times). I didn't want to 3bet and make him fold smaller pairs and Axs. I thought he would be folding all weaker hands to 3bet and calling/shoving stronger ones?

      Hey MisClick,

I think you played the hand very good. About the 3bet, well it is the case if you 3bet you have to go broke against his stack because you dont wanna turn your hand into a bluff with 3bet/F. Since he is still OR tight especially UTG and folding to 3bets a lot IMO calling is here the best option.
Postflop not much to add, just ''Well played!'' :)
