      Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with J A
UTG+1 folds, Hero raises to $0.40, 5 folds, SB calls $0.35, BB calls $0.30

      Flop: ($1.20) J 2 6 (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $0.85, SB raises to $2.20, BB folds, Hero calls $1.35

      Turn: ($5.60) A (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3.20, SB folds

I'm not confident in my play when my top pair gets raised on these two-tone flops (similar to the AA hand I posted a few minutes ago). How do we decide between protection against flush draws (which argues in favour of re-raising and getting it in) versus WA/WB worrying about sets (which argues in favour of calling)?

      Hello member001,

When usually we have the backdoor nutFD or something similar then you can also go for pot control, without it I would rather advice not to do that.

But now again I'd ask if we can continue on the flop so easily.

      Best Regards.
