      Villain was 18/15/1.7 (VPIP/PFR/3bet)
I didn't know what to think about the donk. It could have been an attempt to get me out of the pot with a weaker hand...??? Should I have fired a value bet of 6-8$ on river after his check or is a safer way just to check and avoid a push because i can't see any weaker hands calling me on the river, even with a smaller bet?

      Hello barbarella96,

To avoid complications I wouldn't be CBetting in first place without having the nutFD, cause in case you even hit you most likely wont get paid and could easily be vs A.

As played I'd bet the river for value the size you mentioned, we can still Bet/Fold it cause I would assume he is rarely going to bluff but meanwhile could have A in his range.

      Best Regards.
