My thought process: I am defending my BB with 78s which gives me good EQ vs his 4bet range in case he does not fold. My opponent is regular tag not very aggresive. My plan for the hand was call his min 4bet and play the board. I was confident that even out of position I could have outplayed him. The flop is kind of shitty but it serves me good. 2 Kings 1 Jack, 2 of them hearts. So i am thinking he 4beted me this is perfect flop for him for C-bet so I 'll play check-shove. If he missed with something like AQ/QQ he ll fold the shove. If he has AA,,AK he ll stay in the hand but nevertheless i have good EQ (about 33) with my flush draw. Not to mention that he could have tried this 4bet with the idea to resteal. So his check here puzzled me greatly. I tried to force him out of the hand but instead of him folding or pushing AI he just called. And i was dazed from that move. Any thoughts ?!

I might have posted it in wrong section cause i was play NL16 and NL25 at the same time. Didn't pay attention though :f_grin:

      Hello DaedraLords,

Welcome to the NL Hand Evaluation Forum! Hopefully we will see more hands from you in the future. I hope that with our help you can improve your play and as well move up the limits. We will be waiting for the next hands and till that good luck on tables! And nope you didn't post into wrong section.

Preflop: 3betting of course is fine but I don't see any reason to Call. You said he isn't even aggressive then why to Call in first place and play the hand OOP. It's ~2,5x which kind of normal for 4bet size.

      As played
Postflop: Just betting the turn of course you ain't many hands to fold nor the sizing for 4bet pot doesn't suit very good. Can easily achieve the same with smaller Bet and could even Bet the river as well for fold equity. Although assuming that his range is rather stronger and Check behind could include a lot of PPs which ain't folding then there isn't even any point to bluff. So the idea on the turn is for small fold equity and also block-betting ~1/2 pot maximum.

      Best Regards.
