IPoker, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 7 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

      BTN: $1.95 (97.5 bb)
      SB: $4.65 (232.5 bb)
      BB: $4.22 (211 bb)
      Hero (MP1): $2 (100 bb)
      MP2: $1.65 (82.5 bb)
      MP3: $5 (250 bb)
      CO: $2 (100 bb)

      Preflop: Hero is MP1 with Q A
Hero raises to $0.08, 5 folds, BB calls $0.06
I Thought I was at mid when I made this raise.

      Flop: ($0.17) 8 5 8 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.12, BB calls $0.12
With overcards, I still felt like I had decent Equity, this guy was a bit of a fish, and so since the board was not all that Drawy I made a continuation bet as a bluff. As well as he checked so I felt like he had weakness.

      Turn: ($0.41) Q (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.30, BB folds
I hit queen, and since I still felt like he had nothing, and since my kicker was so high I bet for value. Was this the right decision? or on this board is it to risky?

      Results:
      $0.41 pot ($0.02 rake)
      Final Board: 8 5 8 Q
BB mucked and lost (-$0.20 net)
      Hero mucked Q A and won $0.39 ($0.19 net)

Seems fine, there's nothing risky if he didn't had anything then, turn doesn't really change much... it can just give him draw's, that's about it.

doesn't really mean anything since even most fish will check their entire range here (including 8x and such)

i'd just bet until he raises, then it's a fold. :f_biggrin:
when you hit your hand you don't really want him to have nothing, you just want him to have a worse something :f_biggrin:

      Hello Chowchow12,

Pretty standard, rather just Bet for value and might even protect your hand there. Nice hand!

      Best Regards.
