Poker Stars, $0.02/$0.05 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

      UTG: $5.46 (109.2 bb)
      MP: $6.25 (125 bb)
      CO: $4.26 (85.2 bb)
      BTN: $5.05 (101 bb)
      Hero (SB): $13.59 (271.8 bb)
      BB: $1.96 (39.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A J
2 folds, CO raises to $0.15, BTN folds, Hero raises to $0.45, 2 folds

      Results:
      $0.35 pot
      Hero mucked A J and won $0.35 ($0.20 net)

Not too sure how to play hands like this. I know he’s in the CO so I assumed this is okay, but I get lost when the raiser is UTG or MP.

Against CO this is fine. against a utg/mp open you could fold. Think about what Ax hands villain is opening (most likely AT+) so you'll find yourself in a lot of dominated situations flatting AJ against their range. That's assuming utg/mp is a tag. If they are getting out of line with early position openings then you could even raise with AJ for value.

      Hello DrDunne,

Both options are fine, even calling could be possible vs CO range but then again you have to be aware of postflop play. Which we might not want to do while BB could be loose with his stack.

      Best Regards.
