      Results:
      $2.37 pot ($0.10 rake)

BB showed K 4 and lost (-$1 net)
      Hero showed K A and won $2.27 ($1.27 net)

Postflop I didn’t want to raise since I doubted worse hands would call, so I treated it as WA/WB even though the bets were small in comparison to the pot size. I don’t really like how passive I played here, so should I have just raised for value from weaker Kx hands?

I'd still rasie. He could be trying to get a cheap draw out of TJ or 9Ts type hands.

Your still going to get called by weaker Kx. And come river you can get it in vs bb weaker range as he'll be commited should he call

      Hello DrDunne,

Just raise the flop and protect your hand, we are most likely going broke anyways. They could easily have draws worse pairs/Kx.

      Best Regards.

i know it's opponent dependent but is it quite standard to go broke with TPTK in SH games? or is this simply because of their stack sizes and the board texture? i would be worried about KQ which is well in the ranges..

No, it's not. Depends again a lot on which board, which stacks and which opponents, etc.

We can't put the opponents on only the nuts.
