I wouldn't expect ppl to raise there with worse hands at that limit. Ppl respect block bets/ don't know what they are. I'd just make a normal value bet and call his shove.

      Hello Tomaloc,

Agree here that normal value-bet should be standard there than an inducement. :)

      Best Regards.

      easy call vs the shove?

i mean, he just couldn't have a super strong hand here... but of course he had it

Wasn't it your plan? :D Although I doubt that you going to see a lot bluffs there on the river.

yes exactly :P but i just wondered if the plan was really horribly wrong somewhere
at the time i decided to go with the inducebet because i gave him a range heavily weighted towards random x y. what else would he take such a line with, 44/33/JJ?
AJ/QQ+ would just call (that said, they would also call a bigger bet)

i like the induce bets in such situations because i think i get action more often, they may just check behind a nonhit but when they face a lowbet they can't call and it's tough to fold. this one was a bit too big for that purpose, i think something like ~1.5 would be better :P

Why would you want to induce, you don't even know the opponent most likely. Just make a normal Bet. ;)

Depends what size we do Bet but not that easily. :( Unless we Bet something like $3-4. Cause it's obvious that we don't beat that many hands anymore after he raises us. We also block K.
