      BB 36/19/38 hands

Since he cold called my 3bet, I figured his range was mostly PP, & not many worse aces if any.
So do you think its better to try & bluff catch?

After he bet the flop so small, I was tempted to c/r for value, but that sort of defeats the purpose of me bluff catching in the first place.

      BTN: $48.04 (192.2 bb)
      Hero (SB): $25.70 (102.8 bb)
      BB: $25 (100 bb)
      UTG: $28.27 (113.1 bb)
      MP: $55.18 (220.7 bb)
      CO: $13.23 (52.9 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A:heart: J:club:
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.75, Hero raises to $2.50, BB calls $2.25, BTN folds

      Flop: ($5.75) A:diamond: 9:spade: 6:club: (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $1, Hero calls $1

      Turn: ($7.75) Q:diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $2.75, Hero calls $2.75

      River: ($13.25) 4:diamond: (2 players)
      Hero checks, BB checks

      Results: $13.25 pot ($0.60 rake)
      Final Board: A:diamond: 9:spade: 6:club: Q:diamond: 4:diamond:
      Hero showed A:heart: J:club: and won $12.65 ($6.40 net)
BB mucked A:spade: T:spade: and lost (-$6.25 net)

      Hello dannywratten,

We have to ask ourselves what's the reason for 3betting in first place there? Of course it's fine and I don't even mind your play but also we have to figure either we are doing it for value or just turning hand into bluff-catcher. What about opponents fold to 3bet?

But as played seems to be fine, not that many worse hands will pay you anyways.

      Best Regards.
