Do you like 3betting as a bluff here? He seems like a fairly straight forward reg & I want to see what he does facing 3bets.

I'm not sure if I can cbet for value OTF though, I guess he might call some broadways AQ KQ AK & FD's.
Problem is I don't have a plan for later streets & lots of cards can improve his range.

After he checked back turn I think I missed value by checking river.

      BTN: $12.15 (48.6 bb)
      Hero (SB): $36.03 (144.1 bb)
      BB: $25.38 (101.5 bb)
      UTG: $17.93 (71.7 bb)
      MP: $41.08 (164.3 bb)
      CO: $25 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A T
2 folds, CO raises to $0.75, BTN folds, Hero raises to $2.50, BB folds, CO calls $1.75

      Flop: ($5.25) 5 T J (2 players)
Hero bets $2.90, CO calls $2.90

      Turn: ($11.05) 4 (2 players)
      Hero checks, CO checks

      River: ($11.05) 3 (2 players)
      Hero checks, CO checks

      Results:
      $11.05 pot ($0.50 rake)
      Final Board: 5 T J 4 3
      Hero showed A T and won $10.55 ($5.15 net)
CO mucked 9 9 and lost (-$5.40 net)

      Hello dannywratten,

Preflop: Not really unless I know that he is folding a lot to 3bets but which most likely wont happen him being a reg. You get called mainly by dominated hands.

      As played
Postflop: What's the plan on the turn with the Check? Also the river plan if you even go for Check/Call on the turn?

      Best Regards.

Well i didnt really have a plan for the turn, maybe bluffcatch one street, but it would be difficult to play the river & i would have to c/f. I think i should have value bet the river though as played

I'd rather Bet/Fold the turn myself than turn my hand into bluff-catcher, will be difficult to Check/Call 2 streets and he most likely is capable of betting with weaker hands.

But as played I'd rather let him bluff than Bet myself for value, right now you are kinda result oriented that he had a showdown hand. From how many worse hands do you get called on the river?
