I don't know what to do here. I think this guy is pretty bad to check-minraise with A7s for example, or JJ or 99 so he isn't representing much. On the other hand he is a nit. I folded but then I raged thinking he was probably bluffing. Also if I plan to continue which would be the best plan? Raising? Calling and betting the turn? In case he bets again what should I do?

I'll checkback on flop because many PP will call and if you don't have A,
one of them often have it.

No way, it hits my perceived range so well and if I check back it means I give up since I won't be able to represent anything anymore.

This is a good board to cbet imo. Futher if many ppl call the flop you could always barrel the turn to fold their pp's from 22-TT.

      Hello BadeaCelRau,

The only reason to CB here is to gain yourself a free card for river and might even gain fold equity. We have backdoor draws + overcards and we might even lay down his PPs by double-barreling even.

Cause if you Check the flop then you wont be able to Call for example if another arrives, we don't have the implied odds then. But when you CB you could easily even double-barrel it to get rid of weaker PPs. Without having those backdoors I might be towards Checking behind.

      Best Regards.

Errr, this wasn't about cbeting or not cbeting ^^, somebody hijacked. It was about how to handle his check-minraise.

Wouldn't start to fight back either here without even knowing his raise CB nor Check/Raise stat and overall tendency, just have AF here. Nor I wouldn't exclude Ax hands from his range, why can't he Check/Raise for value vs your PPs which are likely even to Call for the given odds and then he can just Bet the turn again & pick the sizing himself.

Don't know, I took a break and he's relatively unknown for me compared to other regs. I only got 600 hands on him. Thanks for the answer. Do you think I might be leveling too much against nitty FR NL50 regs?

Most likely, you see too often that people tend to fight back against you although they ain't, especially nits.
