      stats: vpip/pfr/3Bet/af (hands)

      Party, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 7 Players
      Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

      SB: $1.88 (94 bb)
      BB: $0.80 (40 bb) 21/5/6.2/1.7 (2700) -- likely tilting
      MP1: $2.75 (137.5 bb)
      MP2: $4.03 (201.5 bb) 78/28/0/4.5 (65)
      MP3: $2.62 (131 bb)
      CO: $1.57 (78.5 bb)
      Hero (BTN): $2.14 (107 bb)

      Preflop: Hero is BTN with A K
      MP1 calls $0.02, MP2 calls $0.02, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.12, SB folds,
      BB raises to $0.80 and is all-in, MP1 folds, MP2 raises to $4.03,
      Hero ???

      I hate these.
      There is no post-flop play available
      BB does this w/ pocket pairs as low as 88,
      so although I'm almost certain its a standard coin flip vs him,
      MP2's range is tighter, and I don't think I have the equity to call a shove.

      Or do I?

             Equity     Win     Tie
      UTG    26.24%  17.93%   8.31% { AcKc }
      UTG+1  36.75%  30.05%   6.70% { QQ+, AQs+, AKo }
      UTG+2  37.00%  33.48%   3.53% { 99+, AQs+, AKo }

      when mp2 just overlimps he'll have trash a slightly higher % of the time. :f_biggrin:

      i wouldn't agree with the ranges either, think MP also is way more polarized. but we're hardly going to be far far ahead and we're going to see their hands anyway so just fold it.

      Hello VorpalF2F,

      Agree, that I'd also just fold the hand and let it go, we haven't invested much into the pot and we will see their hands anyways. Wouldn't be surprised to see from MP2 some strong hand which traps like that. :D Especially if he assumed that BB is tilting.

      Best Regards.

      I did fold.
      I knew it was the correct play, it just didn't feel like the correct play.

      Here is the rest of the hand:

      Flop: ($1.75) 8 T J (2 players, 1 is all-in)
      Turn: ($1.75) 8 (2 players, 1 is all-in)
      River: ($1.75) 2 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

      Results: $1.75 pot ($0.08 rake)
      Final Board: 8 T J 8 2
      MP2 showed A K and won $1.67 ($0.87 net)
      BB showed Q Q and lost (-$0.80 net)

      Would be a shame to see such a flop. :D
