CO had a VPIP of 40, PF 0 and Ag 17 so i was sure he'd called the preflop raise with an unmade hand and missed, was i wrong to bet the river?

      Hello Musher1993,

Welcome to the English NL Hand Evaluation Forum! Hopefully we will see more hands from you in the future. I hope that with our help you can improve your play and as well move up the limits. We will be waiting for the next hands and till that good luck on tables!

Doesn't really make sense to bet the river if you didn't even CB the flop. Rather CB the flop or just give it up on further actions and just Check/Fold it. What are you trying to represent on the river?

      Best Regards.

Thanks for the welcome, this probably sounds pretty stupid but i thought he'd missed as well but i had no extra information to go off as i hadn't bet on the flop or turn, would you recommend Cbetting on that flop to see where you stand then checking it down if they call?

Then just Check it through, if he wanted to bluff then he would have done it earlier. :)
