      Hey Jeeerum,

You can play poker though Flash on many of their websites, a described in the many forum links our Mac Guru RasTweet has posted :P

Have you managed to sort your Mac + Poker out now, or are you in need of some further assistance?

But thanks guys, you have been very helpfull!

      I'd say, Case closed :)

Hey i was about to buy a Mac Jeerum if i won the 4000$ quad competition. But i didn't.Anyway.I WILL buy a mac when i have the money.

I suggest to use a software called Vmware. You will create a virtual windows pc in you mac.you can name it "poker" for example and use it only for poker.

I think that 's the best solution for mac users. That's what i will do when i ll buy
      it .

Never heard of this vmware, but have to check it out!

      Guess it's something like parallels?

Yes, they are two main competitors for virtualization on Mac OS

Vmware is one (maybe the best) software to create virtual enviroments.
I once had 2 linux and one windows virtual "computers" in my windows pc.
You can turn on-off anytime and use it like a separate computer.

Be careful to make some settings like how much memory will the virtual enviroment will use.
If you want something feel free to ask.
You must install the OS from the very beginning and use it like a "new" computer.

All you need is vmware workstation

And also i suggest to clone it and have a backup of your virtual pc.

      • You can try WineBottler too.

      • I hate using browser based clients (iPoker Network) but if you insist on playing at the sites you mentioned OP, you can do it.

      Hi EnterG

Sounds like it works just the same as parallels. I got parallels running and I'm not going to change it obviously. But good to know about this vmware, if I need to install another virtual environment I might give it a shot.

I did't know parallels but as you can see here these two programs are close to one another.

Anyway is good to have a 2nd option.
