      -----------

So I call here for looking for a set, but the flop comes two aces. The original raiser leads out which I think he's doing on many flops, so I call looking for him to give up on the turn if it blanks.

When the 4 comes and he barrels I'm not sure what to do, but I'm thinking on such a flop he might bet twice with KQs or some such hand, though there isn't much left in his range that I beat (except some FDs and 55-66, the latter he doesn't probably play this way).

Is calling the turn the right thing to do? The less than half pot bet on the river also looks strong, so is this always a fold? I can't think of what hands he would make this size bet with that I can beat.

      Thanks guys!

(And thanks Veriz for pointing out how to post hands properly).

      folding on flop is OK
calling on flop + folding turn is OK (hi cbet flop/low cbet turn)
calling flop + calling turn + calling river is OK
(triple barells from broadways, but can't imagine that this player is so creative)
      but
calling flop + calling turn + folding river is...stupid :)

Can you explain why it's stupid though? Maybe I'm an idiot but I see guys barreling twice then giving once they see that 8 on the river? Is it because of the size of the river bet relative to the turn bet? Is it because of the busted draws in his range? Sorry if these are stupid questions.

Cheers for the response as well.

      Hello ains21,

Just fold the flop, you are rarely going to be ahead there while he also CBets into multiway pot and his MP range is strong. Totally overplayed your PP here.

      Best Regards.
