      Preflop calling with 99 is fine vs such an aggro 3better. But we have to be aware of that it is MP v SB, so not the classic resteal situation, therefore Villain's range should be somewhat stronger.
      After calling flop, I'd try to reach showdown, and check the hand down. It's rather a wa/wb situation, if we bet he wont fold better hands (overpairs, Qx), and probably wouldnt call with worse.

      There are no draws, except backdoor with X:sX, but he seems aggro enough to barrel that himself on the turn.

      Hello tolari,

      This might be one of those spots where I'd just Check it on the turn cause of course we are protecting from AK or whatsoever hand but at the same time I assume he ain't going to pay us much either. But meanwhile could go into pot control mode with TT/JJ or whatsoever and nor I don't see him bluffing on the river.
