      UTG 14/11/2.9/5.0/28/682hands
      23%FT3b/23.1%4b

Since this guy hates folding to 3bets, would you assume he could play like this with smaller overpairs, FD's?
b/f seemed too weak, but I have Ad so takes away a lot of his FDs

      BTN: $28.29 (113.2 bb)
      SB: $57.18 (228.7 bb)
      BB: $25.68 (102.7 bb)
      UTG: $49.21 (196.8 bb)
      Hero (MP): $27.15 (108.6 bb)
      CO: $28.77 (115.1 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A A
UTG raises to $0.75, Hero raises to $2.35, 4 folds, UTG calls $1.60

      Flop: ($5.05) 5 4 8 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $2.90, UTG raises to $7.50, Hero raises to $24.80 and is all-in, UTG calls $17.30

      Turn: ($54.65) 3 (2 players, 1 is all-in)
      River: ($54.65) 5 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

      Results:
      $54.65 pot ($2.00 rake)
      Final Board: 5 4 8 3 5
      UTG showed 8 8 and won $52.65 ($25.50 net)
Hero showed A A and lost (-$27.15 net)

The c/r of an 14/11 nit in this spot looks very nutsy.

Does he c/r flop whit blufs or draws?
If not fold flop and look for better spot.

Because 44/99 is an big part of his UTG openrange and if he never blufs flop this is nuts.

If he has an low c/r flop % I would flop all the time.

      Hello dannywratten,

Preflop: Should be 3betting it a bit bigger while you are right now giving even the odds to set-mine vs you. :)

      As played
Postflop: As we even know that we gave set-mining odds and he definitely has a lot of them in his range, might even be possible to get away. Not sure if this guy would ever even overplay any higher overpairs here. That I would base his W$SD so far or how I saw him.

      Best Regards.

      Hey veriz,

We don't give him the odds to setmine? He gets call15.5 to be exactly but for setmining OOP we should get better odds I thought?

      Interesting spot:

Pre: Since i assume that we rarely ever bluff this guy with a 3bet i see no harm in raising bigger in this specific scenario. Setmining is much less attractive once you don´t get paid off due to weaker ranges. Come to think of it we actually may not even 3bet AK/QQ here -> even more often payoff for the guy.
That begs the question if we should flat AA/KK here too. On first glance a nice idea (strengthening cc-Range, suqeezeinduce) but on 2nd thought i think at least squeezeinduce does not apply here since this guy should not get squeezed too often. However attacking his TP or marginal overpair range in a singleraised pot could still be a nice idea.

If he calls many PP oop adaption should be obvious too. And then a smaller betsize makes suddenly perfect sense.

While i would discount any kind of draw i still see him attacking with hands like 99-KK and in this case i cannot find the fold.

      MP3 41.80% 38.91% 2.89% { QQ+, 88, 55-44 }

In my eyes no way u can get of this hand postflop.

      Yes, that's correct for a 3bet pot. ;)
