Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is SB with A :club: K
1 fold, CO raises to $0.85, 1 fold, Hero raises to $2.80, 1 fold, CO calls $1.95

      Flop: ($5.85) K :club: 3 :diamond: 7 :spade: (2 players)
Hero bets $2.70, CO raises to $5.50, Hero calls $2.80

      Turn: ($16.85) 5 :diamond: (2 players)
      Hero checks, CO checks

      River: ($16.85) 4 :diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $10.00, Hero calls $10

On the flop most of Villain's range is going to bluffs IMO.
I say it, because AK, KQ, 33, 77 doesn't make sense to raise IP into 3bet pot.
So, I call to keep his bluffs in.

On the turn I still check back to let him bluff on the River, but instead I could bet for value and protection vs. FD's. I don't expect Villain to have medium made hands or straight draws (since he called a 3bet). It's either a total garbage or FD.

River. Now it's either a total air he's betting there or flush.
I think he would rather 2barrel his air on turn, so this is more likely to be a backdoor flush.
      So, fold River?

      Hello Anger86,

Nah, he is rarely 2nd barreling air there. The turn card isn't good for us either. To avoid him Checking behind rather donk out yourself like 1/2 pot size or something similar. He isn't going to bluff there.

And as played on the river most of the draws got there and you don't beat much anymore. Backdoor FD got there, SD got there and his range definitely had a lot of those hands which had a draw on the turn and Checked behind. So it's even towards just a fold. While he isn't that loose preflop either by calling those 3bets.

      Best Regards.
