BB checks, Hero checks, BTN checks

      TURN ($0.95) 6:spade: J:club: 6:heart: 8:spade:

BB bets $0.60, Hero calls $0.60, BTN calls $0.60

      RIVER ($2.75) 6:spade: J:club: 6:heart: 8:spade: 6:club:

BB checks, Hero bets $1.70, BTN raises to $9.40 (AI), BB folds, Hero calls $7.56 (AI)

      BTN shows 6:diamond: 7:diamond:
      (Pre 23%, Flop 4.3%, Turn 2.3%)

      Hero shows J:heart: J:spade:
      (Pre 77%, Flop 95.7%, Turn 97.7%)

      BTN wins $20.31

I check Flop because only 6-6 beats me and I dont want to scare them away. Same reason I just call on Turn, as I want them to hit something or try to bluff out.
At river only a 6 will beat me, and i dont put any of the players on the range of A6 or a sole 6'er as i raised preflop, so im never folding here.

      What you think?

Well i don't think you can really fold. That being said its more then possible for pretty much any player that isn't a total nit to have 56s,67s,A6s in their flatting range on the BU.

I also don't like that his river c/r is a pretty massive overbet which makes it highly unlikely that its ever for thin value with like an overpair and it also makes it very unlikely that its a bluff.

So your looking at 88 or 6x pretty much every time but even so you have 50% vs 56s,67s,A6s and getting the right odds to call, especially since his more likely to bet 6x on the flop and c/b 88 i think you will see 88 here way more then 50% of the time making it any easy call. If i'd get on the river this way with 88 i'd snap fold.

      Hello gredal,

We might not even able to always exclude all QQ hands from his range. So therefore we could even consider calling it down, he will definitely have also 88 in his range which may play this way. Difficult to fold, especially 0 information on the guy.

      Best Regards.
