Hi, I thought it's about time for me to make a blog. Its really so I can have access to all my past stats and graphs, all in one place so I can see the progress i'm making. I'm not going to write about my personal life much, just that i'm called Stewy (Stiev) and I come from Liverpool.

I lost the initial $50 and a couple of $50 reloads. I then decided I was going to play a little bit more serious, about 5-6 weeks ago. Since then I've beaten NL5, and had a nightmare with NL10. I hit a 22 BI downswing on NL10, just before I was due to hit NL20. The downswing was a mixture of bad play and alot of coolers. I then had a session with a friend of mine watching ( he plays the casino's, and plays pro). He couldn't believe the suckouts I was getting, and he advised me to deposit and hit NL20. I never deposited but I had the money ready to, if need be.

So I hit NL20 and was winning again. Playing really good poker, and seeing results. I then decided I was going to take poker a little more serious, and I went through a poker detox that I read in a magazine. It required me to fold AA preflop two times, amongst other things. Since the 4 day detox I'm apreciating it when I get a good hand. Its also made me determined to better my game.

I have only had PT3 for a week. I imported all my old hands and had a shock, I wasn't running as good as expected. So I decided to change my game.

I've forgot the old way I used to play, and I now play 100% to the BSS SHC. This has tightened my game up a hell of alot, and made me alot more aggresive. I have only been playing this way for about 5 days now, but I am pleased with the stats. I have memorized the SHC now and i'm playing 12 tables.

So heres some stats and graphs for my first 10k hands BSS:

I will probably update this page every 10k hands, which will be about every 4-5 days. I will ask, if people want to comment or ask questions, please do. But I dont want this thread to become spammed, and full of other peoples banter towards eachother, which I notice some other threads have.

I would also like to thank the hand evaluators, moderators, and all staff for making this happen. Also SoyCD, as he staked me in the 1st ever battle of the donkeys, and gave me the chance to win another stake this week.

Until my next post, Thx for reading, and GL at the tables.

      Stiev

My brother deleted my database last night, by accident. I will start a new database in the morning and post my stats next sunday, and then every sunday after.

      Hey Cannel555

Nice to see you started a blog. Your stats are looking good. But i do not recommend to deposit own money if possible. ;)
Folding AA preflop on NL20???? what? why?
Following our charts is definitely the right way. I am looking forward to read about your progress.

      Best regards,

When the detox said fold AA, i thought wtf. But I can tell you it helped me focus on my game.

Anyway this blog was deemed to be a none starter, I'm waiting for a cash out on titan, which seems to be a long procedure.

I'm going to switch my BR to stars, as the games seem pretty easy.

I finished ITM in the battle of the donkeys, so I sent half to Soycd for staking me, and with the other $8 I decided to play a few SnG's. I've never been a good SnG player, or liked them, but here are the results.

I'm happy with the results i'm getting. I know its not to BRM, but if I was to loose it all, so be it. It's free money so I'm willing to risk it until its built up.

As you can see I'm not very good at HU, and have alot of 2nd finishes. If any good SnG players read this, should I be finishing ITM more than 50% of the time?

      Hey there cannell555 :D

Good to see you're also blogging now. I enjoyed the read, and like the pictures and graphs. Nice to see you've donked up those 8 bucks you've won - since you can't really use BRM with that little its fine to make an exception there.

Hope to see you keep updating :)

What's the problem about cashing out on Titan??
Do they ask a lot of personal documents before cashing out?

Just document checks, I dont have any bills or bank statements, so I have no proof of where I live. I'm waiting for my 1st mobile phone bill next week, hopefully that will suffice.

For example: if you live with your parents, and the bill is in your father's name. And you have your father's name in your ID card. Do they accept, that as proof??

I wouldn't know, I dont have any parents info on my ID. Currently dont live with them either so cant really comment. I would advise any player to provide all this info when they sign up at a platform, because it only needs to be done once. Then when you want to withdraw, it will happen smoothly.

How come they didn't ask me? And I never sent them any documents? How much money are you withdrawing, maybe it's because of that. I had 500$ withdraw and they didn't ask me.

Well its only about $600 that I want to take out, to take to stars. But I was assked for the info regardless of the amount, think they just do random checks.

When I withdraw my entire BR from Party, they didn't asked me too.
Maybe it's random as you said!

I'm not sure how i'm going to cash out on titan. I'm going to send them an email after i've made this entry.

So i'm still playing with the $8 I got for the battle of the donkeys. its now $145.36, and i'm having major trouble with my HU play. I'm playing super aggressive but it's not really working. I will try and make it to a SnG coaching through the week, as i'm thinking about switching from cash. The SnG's are easy on stars, and with a little help I think I can get a nice ROI%. At the minute i'm a complete SnG donk, but my stats reflect how easy they are.

Heres my PT3 results for the SnG's played. There is a few higher buyins which was actually the WSOP steps, so I never bought in directly.

I'm using the sharkscope graph instead of PT3, because my PT3 graph shows the higher buyins, which I never paid for.

I will report back next sunday with my progress.
      Until then GL

So its been 2 weeks since I got the $8 on stars, earlier this week it was upto $400. Until thursday, I had some bad news and went and blew $300, to let some steam out, only to find out the news wasn't true. On titan I've decided to delay the cashout for the time being. I started playing NL20 SH there, and i'm pretty happy with the results so far. I'm having a few updates done on my laptop so I cant post any graphs or stats this week.

My sharkscope stats are still showing profit even after my blow out. I still have a ROI of 9% which is hard for me to believe.

I dont think I'll be playing much this week, as I'm working on a few aspects of my game.

I also decided to transfer £25 into betfair as I do alot of online sportsbetting. I really like the layout, and i'm thinking of transfering my full sports bankroll there. I have £54.50 on betfair now after a day of horse racing. I'm going to add a little comment each week about my sports account.

Next week i'll add graphs and stats, and will add an upto date statement of my rolls on each site.

You seem to be playing quite profitably on NL20!
Those SNG results are good, I wish I could do that

Good luck on the sports and the poker :D

Its been a quiet week for me, in terms of poker. My laptop is back, and all is running smoothly this time. I haven't uploaded my hand histories yet, as i'm playing SnG's on titan for awhile, and have no history playing these anyway.

I went bust on stars. I hadn't implemented BRM, I planned on doing so when I hit the $500 mark. I knew I was risking it, and as it was only $8 to start off with, its no big deal.

I set up a new database for titan, and tbh I'm dissapointed with how i'm playing. I feel that my HU play is absolutely awful. I have been working on it, but the HU strategy's seem to be useless on these low limits. I'm seriously thinking about paying for some private HU coachings, with my sportsbook BR.

My sportsbook is going great, I am up $650 in the last week. With the tennis and horse racing to thank. I am definaitly transfering my BR to betfair, but when I do this i'm going to miss over a weeks worth of betting. So i'm waiting until the tennis has finished. I'm really looking forward to reading the sports betting articles, when their released. Hopefully they can teach me some new content.

The battle of the donkeys was a complete let down this week. My AA vs AQo, allin PF. Only for the guy to hit a Q on the turn and river. The final blow was my AKs vs QKo, the guy hit his Q on the flop obv. Also gratz! to Tribun, he finished 40th in the sunday million on stars, and I learnt a few things while railing him. Thx!

      My BR's stand at:

      Titan $462
      Betfair $0
      Stars $0
Betfred $???? Not sure if I'm going to release this amount yet.

Until next week, GL and have fun!

I moved up to the $22 SnG's, and I have had a few bash's at the $33's. The $33's are the same as the $22's, i've just had real bad luck on them. I have only just found out about the summer bonus on titan, so from tomorrow onwards i'll hopefully be playing around 50-60 tourneys a day. I am only playing them 3 at a time, which is probably silly, as I handle 16 cash tables with ease. Throughout the week I will probably start playing more tables.

Small sample size, but my winrate is okay imo. As the people in the IRC channel will tell you, I have been getting sick beats (and complaining to all them, sry guys!).

Funniest graph ever? I played the 1st 650 games months ago, before I had a clue what I was doing. I set myself a goal, it was to get above even on sharkscope in the next month. Well I completed the goal in 2 days. (note to self, make harder goals for yourself)

Here is my PT3 graph for this database. The last 2 days have annoyed the shit out of me (pardon my french).

My sports book has been at a stand still until today. I had $25 each way on a horse at 18/1, which won. So for my $50 outlay, I recieved $612.50. I have watched this horse for 2 years (since its 1st race) and lately It has earnt me some nice money.

My goals for the next month are:
Reach titanium vip level on titan. (2nd highest level)
Reach platinum on PokerStrategy. (will push to see if I can make diamond, but I doubt it)

If I qualify for the summer bonus on titan, i'm estimating that I could get aroud $1500 rakeback. Which would be nice.

If anyone has any questions please dont hesitate to ask.

Titan $1127 (more than double last weeks)
      Betfair $0
      Stars $0
Betfred $???? Not sure if I'm going to release this amount yet.

Until next week, GL and have fun!

      Hey cannell555 nice progress :)

Seems like your not only running well in Poker but also sportsbetting :P

Just be careful with your BRM - not sure if you are playing turbos or not but you should always try to have around 50 buyins of whatever limit you are playing at :)
