      Against a decent player sometimes checking OOP on flop and getting turn and river value can control the pot so it doesnt get bloated and you have to ch/f on ugly rivers.

      could that work coach?

      it depends on the player- some would always start barreling if you check to them, some would take their free cards. With AQ I think you can bet all 3 streets for value and then fold if he shoves. If you check river then I would c/c, rather than c/f. Blind vs blind both value and bluff ranges are wider and I wouldn´t really surprise if he would valuebet there KQ or QT- also he can have smt like AT that floated on the flop and picked up straight draw on the turn
