      Hello pokerstrategists :D

For those of you who don't know me: I'm Matt, 23. Sometime during 2011 I started playing husng normal/turbo speed but had to quit for several months to make sure I graduate!

So now I'm back :) playing hypers  on stars (unfortunately, untracked).

My goal is simply to move up in stakes (no way?!!).

In early June I made a (second) minimum deposit at stars and started taking hypers seriously. Here is the sexy giraffe for the games so far, exclusively at the $1.50s. Bankroll begins at around $10 and currently stands at $106.

I will use proper BRM from now on. :D

Started mixing $3.50s and actually did pretty well. The game was feeling easy tonight so I thought since so many fishies are online, I'll take a two BI shot at the $7s...

I won't be doing that again in a while hahah :D

Got unlucky in both, which is not unexpected in hypers.. but I'm guessing that my baby bankroll shouldn't go through that much adventure.

Back to the $1.50s until I win a couple of BIs and go back to the next level. BR is back to $106.

      Happy weekend y'all! Run goooood

I have come to the realization that I have a specific problem with tilt. I hate losing to bad beats against good or decent opponents. I have, more or less, resolved the issues around losing to fish (you know.. they gotta win at times to keep the games going and such..) but good players sucking out?

      Ugghhhh!

At this stage I still like to play a couple of good players on occasion (good in terms of the current level, of course). Although it slows down BR building, I feel it helps refine my thoughts. I just need to remember to play them when I'm at my best which is usually late in the evening.

Had a couple of low-volume days this month so I'm a bit behind schedule. I am quite busy and September should be better but I also played less because I was frustrated at losing whenever I try to move up.

I'm not in love with the last part of the graph as it stands but meh! hypers gonna hyper, what you gonna do?

      Happy weekend everyone!

Hiya! I had a low-volume month because I'm busy dealing with some other stuff. Nothing major.

I did play a variety of buyins up to $7, though, which I enjoyed.

Here's the graph. It's too loyal to the nature of hypers for my liking :O but I'll be doing some revising so as soon as green makes peace with red expect a bragpost + bragGraph :D

I've put in some volume and made some progress. I'm behind my goals for the month because August was troublesome. I'm very happy though that my BR almost reached $200.

That makes it from $10 to $200 in 2 months. :s_cool:

I'm taking shots at the $7s.

      Hey guys,

I suffered some losses this month due to not playing enough and I've been going through some personal stuff as well as busy with some academic projects. It's all for the better, though, and will soon be over. On the plus side BR is back up at $200 which is nice :)

I'm very happy to report that ROI is 4.7%, only 0.1% above EV ROI <- mostly playing the first two levels.
