      Heyo everyone,

Not many stats on the guy and no history that I can remember. I don't even have him marked as a reg so very likely all the 100 hands came during the last 2 days or so. I think until the river it's pretty straight forward. Even my river vbet seems OK, can it be too thin?

When he raises I just went through the hands that make sense for him.. aaaand.. A9 (maybe he 3bets some of those, suited ones anyway) plus the very optimistic 89s, K9s floats that got there. Basically, Apart from A9 I can't think of a value raise.

My first instict was 'This guy is so full of it and any value raise he makes now can't stand a 3bet from me because I have all sets, 2 pairs, can barrel T7s, etc., while he reps some optimistic 2 pairs, maybe slowplayed low sets, never the nuts'. Eventually I decided he is probably air heavy enough that I can call and not 3bet to make him fold some 2pair because it's BvB, people don't like folding in that spot. Any thoughts?

he pretty much reps A9,75,T7hh, and some rare 89 and thats pretty much it imo (dont rly see k9 in his floating range).

still dont like calling, id much rather raise to 93~. its fold>>raise>call.

still, your sizings arent optimal, esp oop bvb. id go 4.25-4.5 flop then 11-12 into 15 on turn and b/f 24 into 39~ on river.

edit: uhm, i guess river bet isnt a must, some info would be nice, but if u decide to check its with the intention of folding

imo it is one of those spots where he isnt reping much but one the other hand i cant see him bluffing after calling 2 streets on try board. we havent shown any sign of weakness so i just bet/fold river. and river is def bet as you said bvb people dont like to fold.

      Hey all,

Good discussion, hand is interesting so going to move it to the No Limit Advanced discussions forum. I think we should speak about what our calling range should be on the river, and if deeper what our bluffing range should be.

I woudn't try to get him off any 2 pairs here..he just isn't folding those BvB .
My sizing river would be a bit bigger ( like 24 ) and fold to a raise because i don't think he would bluff there and he is still calling some weaker bluffcatchers and probably Ax.

I think he just had some 2 pairs and is going for a small raise on the river and then level himself into calling a 3bet.

      Heh, old thread revived.

Small river bet is basically because I doubt he ever has a good hand so was thinking good pot odds make him more likely to call. In this case it convinced him to turn A7 into a bluff.

I definitely agree with betting bigger overall though.
