BB is 38/0 fish, small sample

Betting turn for free SD is best here isn't it? I don't think he has many Ax hands.

OTR 97 gets there, 34 is unlikely. guess he could play this way with A8 A6 A2 or sets.
I didn't think calling was completely out of the question with such a small bet but i don't think iv ever seen a fishy player take this line as a bluff.

      BTN: $34.07 (136.3 bb)
      SB: $28.93 (115.7 bb)
      BB: $34.83 (139.3 bb)
      UTG: $43.60 (174.4 bb)
      MP: $80.63 (322.5 bb)
      Hero (CO): $25.10 (100.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with J J
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, BTN raises to $2, 2 folds, Hero calls $1.25

      Flop: ($4.35) A 7 8 (2 players)
      Hero checks, BTN checks

      Turn: ($4.35) 7 (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $2.30, Hero calls $2.30

      River: ($8.95) Q (2 players)
      Hero checks, BTN checks

      $8.95 pot ($0.40 rake)
      Final Board: A 7 8 7 Q
BTN mucked 8 9 and lost (-$4.30 net)
      Hero showed J J and won $8.55 ($4.25 net)

      Hello dannywratten,

Seems to be fine but I would usually try to watch out, in any case I would face a bigger Bet on the turn I would be laying down my hand. And of course we are planning to just Check/Fold it there.

But what we could do differently is to just 4bet it preflop vs his weak 3bet sizing.

      I assume wrong hand. :D

      Best Regards.
