6 Reasons not to play at Titan.

      1. Terrible table balancing
      2. No antes.
      3. Slow software.
      4. Stupid bug where the blinds take an extra hand to go up after a break.
      5. Annoying messages from support telling you to sign up to sattelites way outside your BR. EVERY half hour.
      6. Blind structures have no logic and cap out too quickly.

I can't stand it any longer. I've halved my roll and I'm debating whether to take the rest out or keep it there just to clear the rest of my bonus.

And for cash players I don't think the room is too bad but for tourney/sngs it's just atrocious imho.

Add your points and even counter some of mine if you feel up for it ;)

Titan has always been my platform of choice. Until I tried a few others last week. Every platform has certain good and bad points. I think anyone who plays alot of online poker, could merge all the good points and create excellent software. Titans new software is awful. Adding them shitty little buttons (2x, 3x bet pot, etc.).

Also I just tried to withdraw and its a nightmare your 1st time. All my funds are on there way to Stars.

Obviously. Otherwise you would not be ranting.

      How are they related?

I'm not exactly ranting, my points are all valid.

The point I agree on is #5, the damn support.

Harassing me everytime I log on, it's rather intrusive, they just keep on throwing promotions at you and when I say I'm not intrested they ask why, when I say that I can't make swift deposits nor that I am intrested in those promotions they ask why.

Every single day when I was playing, I could not stand it, then I asked not to be contacted by support about promotions any longer and they told me that they could not cease their inquiring, but if I deposited they would stop with the promoting because I would then have no first deposit to gain any bonuses from, see how messed up that is?

      lol

For cash games I think it's ok. I've never played sng there, so I don't know.
The online support is really fast, but they are really intrusive as phatmike said.

The worst is when the promo's pop up in another language right in the middle of a game. When you're multitabling it's damn annoying because it steals precious seconds where you could be making moves on your tables, but instead you're clicking 'OK' to get rid of a popup you don't understand.

Not sure if this happens on other poker rooms, but it's also damn annoying when the main window pops up to tell you a table is open (when you're on the waiting list), all the tables are usually full so normally you have to put yourself on a LOT of waiting lists before you get a game.

I'll probably move my roll to Stars when I've cleared my bonus, but i'll keep Titan purely for the PS freerolls :D

Yep. It's been getting worse recently. Last night I must of counted around 12 of them within about 5 hours.

At least the direct messages from the online support appears to have lessened.

I left my computer for a couple of hours last night, and came back to 10 popups telling me to play cash games...I play cash games like 90% of the time!

My first online poker sites were Partypoker and PKR. When I found PokerStrategy I decided to try Titan. Whilst waiting for my bonus to clear I thought I'd play with play money to get used to the site. I couldn't get a game without waiting for ages and ages. I told them about this and they replied that there were 6000 people on their site at that time. Well whoopy shit. It's like going back to the dark ages playing at Titan. The freerolls are a nightmare to get entered into, taking upto half an hour to be confirmed or denied. That said, I managed to turn my $50 into $150 playing SSS on the low limits, before forgetting bankroll management and blowing the lot on higher stakes sit n go's. Of the sites you can choose on Pokerstrategy I like Full Tilt best.

I think abotu moving to other site because of titan poker harassing support, in just 2 days i received 5 "special offerts" just for me on my email + been contacted by online support twice to tell me about this great offerts.
I understand that they wanna advertise, but this is getting over the top.

The one thing I really resent Titan poker is that I can't set Auto wait for BB whenever I sit at the table and Auto post as soon as my turn to pay the BB comes. If they'd work out that alone I'm sure most of their users would be a lot happier. If PS has any pull on such things they should pressure them to fix this ASAP.

I stopped playing @ titan once they started calling me. Then you're crossing a line imo. Even party doesnt have such aggressive marketing methods.

I personally deposited $50 awhile just to play Blackjack and other casino games, and I did fairly well, winning around $20 in a session. But when I was in the middle of a hand they contacted me through the message bar telling me to play poker, and they did it so much I could barley last an hour without being contacted, what's wrong with them?

Did they do it with a number that wouldn't be displayed on your cellphone?
