Here is the hand I think I played too timid. I called open with pocket pair from CO, made a set on two broadway card flop, pf raiser 3bb weak stab, I call, and another called. And turn, another King, suited. I was really hoping one of them had a king and try check raise, but I stabbed only 3bb. River was a blank and both checked. I was not able to bet too much, so bet half of the pot.

I think flop was good for a slow play, but not the turn. King pair is scary enough, so I had to bet a little more as calling 3bb or 9bb does not make that much difference to the opponents.

I would raise the flop on this drawy board for value and protection.

Also, how is the turn scary? You've just improved your hand and don't have to worry about straight/flush draws anymore.

      Hello londonsystem,

Flop: Just raise the flop, you wont get much value anyways by slowplaying and BB has huge stack from we rather prefer to get value from. :)

      As played
Turn: Why do you Bet so small?

      As played
River: Bet it for value and could easily even over-bet here.

      Best Regards.
