      SB: $13.55 (135.5 bb)
      BB: $6.20 (62 bb)

      CO: $12.23 (122.3 bb)
      BTN: $11.56 (115.6 bb)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q Q
Hero raises to $0.40, MP folds, CO calls $0.40, 2 folds, BB calls $0.30

      Flop: ($1.25) Q 2 8 (3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, CO checks

      Turn: ($1.25) 5 (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.70, CO folds, BB calls $0.70

      River: ($2.65) 9 (2 players)
BB bets $1.30, Hero raises to $8.90 and is all-in, BB calls $3.80 and is all-in

      Results:
      $12.85 pot ($0.64 rake)
      Final Board: Q 2 8 5 9
      BB showed 7 6 and won $12.21 ($6.01 net)
Hero showed Q Q and lost (-$6.20 net)

Not sure on my thoughts here, obv i have top set on flop, but i ask myself what am i getting called by, no draws etc, so either Qx which is unlikely as there is only 1 other Q, i decide to slow play and check.

Turn brings a SD, so i decide to bet, any random 8x or 9x hands may call, 89, 67. River completes straight, probs should just call looking back, but so hard to not raise 2nd nuts.

If BB is playing 50/32 I wouldn't be too fussed about getting it in here on the river. He's also going to have 22,55,88,99 in his range that he is willing to go broke with, as well as the 89s --- vs. such a player and given how much he has behind shipping it on the river seems to me like the right thing to do.

      Hi,

I would prefer c-betting flop, since you would likely to get all-in against BB and since he would c/c down with 8x hands, then c-bet is imo a little better than checking. Although if CO likes to take stabs then c/c or c/r are also fine
I would also shove river- two pair hands are more common than some backdoor straights

      best regards,
