Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is BB with 5 :club: 6
4 folds, SB calls $0.05, Hero raises to $0.40, SB calls $0.30

      Flop: ($0.80) 8 :spade: T :spade: 2 :club: (2 players)
      SB checks, Hero checks

      Turn: ($0.80) 6 :diamond: (2 players)
      SB checks, Hero checks

      River: ($0.80) K :spade: (2 players)
      SB bets $0.40, Hero folds

One of my trademark "not sure whether not good preflop raise" spots.

So, anyway, decide to raise against villain's weak preflop range, flop connects a bit too well with his range, but not sure whether betting the turn wouldn't have been better. Difficult to say since villain may be giving up often, but could also have some sort of pair hands that are bluffcatching (maybe villain bets the turn with a couple of them, though). Either way – few notable worse hands call, if any), but whether I am ahead to justify a protection bet is a question worth asking.

As played I would check the Flop, but bet the Turn since he checks the second time.
I would do it because Villain won't have TP hands there. Probably won't even have a FD there.

      Hello Avatars91,

Well, you could still take a stab on the turn whilst he doesn't even show interest into the pot. :) You could very easily be ahead but about Checking behind the flop I do agree that it's going to be better this way.

      Best Regards.
